Default Reflect on this

I enjoy waxing/polishing cars. Always have loved the end results and probably always will.

The ceramic durability does not get me excited since I probably would apply it every week.

I was pleasantly ‘shocked’ the other day after applying Turtle Wax Spray Ceramic. Super easy to apply along with it imparting a deeper wetter appearance than I can achieve using Mequires Final Show Car Glaze, it is also static free and doesn’t build up in the cracks.

My quick photos don’t do it justice but check out my funny looking legs and the garage trusses…a reflection off of the passenger door.

Highly recommended!

All I see are Crocs

Any idea how the durability is? How long before reapply is needed?

I have no idea, sorry. I could quote TW but they are 'somewhat' opinionated.
Since it is so easy to apply it is a non issue for me.

I just did a quick Google on it. There are a bunch of test reviews on YouTube that I'll check out later. Looks like a good product though.

Nothing is harder to keep clean than black paint, but nothing looks as good when it's perfect.

Is this product significantly more expensive than standard wax? I had heard professional ceramic coating jobs could run hundreds/thousands.

Some reviewers on Amazon said they couldn't get rid of streaks on black vehicles - the pic in the OP looks really good though.

I spray it onto a micro fiber and rub it in. Follow with one micro in each hand. Rub lightly and quickly with one and follow with the other. I have no streaks or light dark spots. I can do the entire car in 10 minutes.

It is very, very pretty! Nice job!!

However, I’m always afraid. How does it look after weathering? Would I need to be committed the effort to avoid a horrible looking finish?
It’s these thoughts that keep having me go back to the old standard of wax, specifically Autoglym.

Ditto for tire dressing products and most products on the dash.
My original dash is perfect. And I want to keep it like that.

I'm an Autoglym loyalist too. Which wax product are you using, @guy ? I'm using Autoglym "Extra Gloss Protection" and wondering if there's a better choice.

I rotate between Autoglym Bodywork wash and wax, for fast jobs
An afternoon with an original recipe Shanty in a tin tankard, and Ultra Deep Shine.
And once every blue moon High Definition Cleanser.

And nothing goes into the interior other than Leather Care Balm.

Jeepers, I should have shares in the company ;-)

Btw, the secret is an English Bitter and Gingerale. 2/3rds, 1/3rd.

A Shanty is a song sung by drunken sailors, who have probably been drinking something stronger than Shandy.
