Default Removing Interior Trunk Panel (Trim)

I need help removing the paneling (trim) on the interior of the trunk hatch. Anyone have a description or diagram on how to easily remove it would be appreciated. I want to remove the factory spoiler (to add a new one XKRS syle), and change the trunk (hatch) tail lights to 2010+ style. Thanks

it all just snaps in and out. one quick tug and it was practically fall off. I used a 1" metal spatula to get underneath as to not damage the plastic. But all in all, it is very easy to remove. Removing the spoiler on the other hand was a bit of a struggle. there were 3 nuts that i could not get a wrench on. Good luck with the project. Where do you plan to get the XKRS spoiler... i want one?

While you are in there. You may consider removing your antenna and putting it in your spoiler. That is what I did.

Glad to hear it. I might just let my body guys do the work... Notice that I wrote XKRS "style" wing, which means not an exact match but very close (clone??)... Thanks for the help. I'll post pictures for sure...

A Trim Tool, although not essential, is the best way to remove many interior fixing clips without damage to either trim or clip:

First remove the Upper Panel trim:

Then the Lower Trim Panel:

Not difficult but take care to avoid marking the surface of the trim when removing the fixings.
