Replacing Supercharger on an '07
Hi all, Me and my father recently bought an '07 XKR. Brought it to the mechanic and he claims the supercharger is bad. So we ordered a brand new second hand SC.
My question is are there any major intake seals or oils that need to be bought to replace on or in the supercharger?

So what is a "Brand New Second Hand" supercharger?
If you are talking all seals and such, a complete rebuild of said supercharger would be necessary. At least an inspection to check everything.
Teflon seals, bearings, snout isolator and the snout seals.
The snout isolator is a frequently replaced item due to excessive noise.
A MORE relevant suggestion would be to replace every possible coolant line since they are always suspect. Doing this job again sucks a lot after everything is reassembled.
Since apart, having the injectors cleaned and tested would be a good thing to do, also because doing it later SUCKS.
