You need to start with the basics.
1. Does the compressor run? No, probably way low on freon and the low pressure switch is opening. Or could be a blown fuse. Need to sort that out to get the compressor running.
2. If compressor is running you need to see if it is running properly and has an adequate freon charge. To do that you need a set of manifold gauges to look at the suction and discharge pressures or a code reader that will give you HVAC diagnostic codes. That information is necessary to do any real troubleshooting. Anything else would be a wild guess. (Low on freon would be my first wild guess.)
