Rubber pipe from T piece to throttle body
Hi, 2007 XKR convertible needs the above piece of rubber as original has a split. Being told by Jag that it only comes with the T piece - £700 !!! Has anyone come across this before and if so, where can I get one or can I manufacture something that will work ??

Apparently that T-piece is the "Intake Air Resonator". It could be worth checking the damaged connector for manufacturer or part no. details - you might find it is a standard FoMoCo part, or something that might be available from the OEM.
Failing that, take it to a decent general motor factor and show it to them; they may be able to find a similar connector that will fit.

I agree with you heat might be a factor, but from the looks of the oem part you could argue that it wasn't designed for the application either...

Have the bloke at the Jaguar agency check this part number for you. Should be about £36.47 inc Vat.

I didn't get much chance to hear any hissing sounds as the supercharger was clattering so much it sounded like a diesel on steroids !!!
I think it split when it was taken off !!!
Seriously though, if it was like that, when the car was running, it didn't sound too bad and the performance was pretty good as well.

Mine will give an imbalance code if I'm caught in a cross wind after taking the air cleaner inlets off.

I got this of of Amazon to replace my broken rubber adapter. It works great. I had to trim it shorter with a utility knife but it works perfect for this piece. I ordered NJA3554AA at first and it did not work well so i measure both intake and throttle body and found this coupler to be close.

NJA3554AA it's not the correct part I ordered it and it is definitely not a fit.!
I was able to find the coupling from Home Depot that worked perfectly. I also placed a hot soldering iron on it and then also on the original part. The original OEM part melted much faster so I know the Home Depot coupling has a higher melting temperature. Cost me 100th the cost at $8 and some cents. I've driven the car now on two four and a half hour trips in hot weather and examined the coupling and it is fine.
This is a photo of the original part from home depot obviously you do not use the metal housing. The two inner diameter sizes are perfect to to slide over the T duct and the intake duct.
