Probably cheaper for them to give you a new windshield than to let you crash the car because you can't see out of it!

Although I've not had my 2010's windshield replaced (yet), though I've thought about it because in certain light it appears as if glitter is sprayed on it, I had the windshield on my 2002 replaced and repaired twice in 4 days a couple of years ago. Had a rock hit my windshield on the freeway and an hour later there was a big crack. Replaced it with Safelite and four days later a rock took a big chip out of it but we chose to repair it and it hasn't cracked since. Replacement was only about $200 so I didn't even bother to run it through the insurance. Is it 5 times as much for the X150's?
