Question Seat back latch broken 2010 XKR

Does anyone have a reasonable fix for a missing latch on the passenger seat back. It appears the screw is still there. Is the part reasonably available or through junk yards? Anyone have the part # by chance? Many thanks.

passenger seat latch missing. Any part number and availability/cost through salvage yards appreciated

A picture of the correct part or area in which your referring would be helpful...

My chrome plastic seat back release broke as well. I glued it and it worked for a while but I ended up replacing it with a new part bought on eBay.
Right side = C2P6558
Left side = C2P6559

I priced out a replacement latch for my '07 - $38 per side. No thanks. For a cheap piece of plastic which is going to break again anyway. Found a metal replacement which is close and will last forever. Why Jaguars chose a cheap plastic latch - for a part that sees some hard usage - is anybodys guess...

Now your car is not original and worth less.

Yea, lots pf plastic parts. Especially in harsh enforonments like the cooling system!!!

Do you remember what metal part you used for the latch lever?

"Do you remember what metal part you used for the latch lever?'
Just some generic (metal!) drawer pulls from Home Depot cabinet bins (horrors!!).
Further cheapening my X150...

$38 for a handle? Thats cheap and if thats too much for stuff thatll break on any car or truck why do you drive a car. Why i almost never sell parts here, bunch of cheapskates that want stuff for nothing lol

...and that's how I can afford a car like this: call me olde school, but I was brought up to be thrifty (but not frugal). Paying $38 (or whatever...) for - really - a garbage piece of plastic that you don't really see (unless you use the back seat hahahaha) rubs me the wrong way. But - each to their own, I guess...
