A few months ago, I purchased a contraption that will allow me to mount a tablet, cell phone, or the like to a goose neck device that slides into the bolt in the passenger seat rail. Unfortunately, given my "Ready, Fire, Aim" mentality when it comes to things like this, I did not check the position of the bolt in the seat rail. The bracket that mounts there will not slide all the way in to hit the bolt, so it won't work in its current configuration. Does anyone know of a vendor who sells a similar bracket, but with a longer base (3 inches or so) that might work with this? It's the bit that looks like an open end wrench that needs to slide under the seat rail bolt.
Thanks. I'll need to spend some time figuring out Tinkercad to get an accurate model. Will ABS stand up to the potential bending force when attached to a goose neck holding a large tablet?

I would cut off the U shaped end and weld in a piece of material to extend the length.
