Default Seats - fully upright position?

Hi - I have just purchased an XKR 4.2. I cannot get the seats to be as upright as I would like, can anyone confirm that the seats do move to the upright position?

Thanks

The seat control modules are known to lose their rightful configuration. Only the jaguar SDD software can correct this.

If the seat moves at all, it can't be a fuse.
At least that's what I'd assume. It'd be Crazy Nutballz to have different circuits for each motor. That'd be an unnecessary nightmare of wiring and harnesses.

Jaguar should not charge owners to reprogram a seat control module every time it looses its configuration. It is a design flaw on their part.

The seats buttons do all work, except - what I would say is an upright position. Can anyone post a photo with their seat in the far upright position - so I can make a comparison?

With thanks

Your wish.......

Just taken.

FWIW my Indy just did a hard reset* and held the incline button in for 10 seconds and it reset.

They attributed it to a previous FB (NOT Facebook) passenger reclining too far and the module just locking out as it couldn't take the strain

Worked in my case

* Oh, if you don't know what a hard reset is then use the search function, although am sure a more helpful member (usually CJ) will be along to spoon feed you

It has taken a while, took the car to the main Jaguar dealer, and they confirmed that both front seats needed to be calibrated. They are now in the upright position as I had hoped. Cost £204.

Thanks for all your advice.
