Shift kit for these, can it be done has anyone done one?

 

A TCM reprogram? I think GGG has info on that.

 

What's it supposed to do?

 

More aggressive shift limits and crisper shifts.

 

More aggressive than sport mode?

There's a ZF 6-speed manual conversion kit available from Swallows Racing or there's TCM tunes available from Cambo @ Old Jaguar Sydney

 

And to add to that
Palmersport GT3 xkr (4.2) had a tcm on its Zf6hp box to firm up shifts , improve shift times
I know Cambo also had TCM developed for XKR... in terms of 1/4 mile performance it went from 12.4-12.6 to 12.0-12.2 1/4 mile times so very much improved.
With n/a 4.2 couldn't get it to stick as different TCM module
