Default Shock Problem XKR 2010

Hello. I need to replace the shocks on my 2010 XKR. The problem is the OE Number.. My VIN is B39949 and on the EPC it says for the Front it has to be either Green C2P21693 or Purple C2P17670. But on the Website the Shocks have both OE numbers listed. Same for the rear. Until VIN B38853 it has to be C2P17674 and after that it has to be C2P21694. And again both OE Numbers listed. I am extremely confused 😅 And to make things worse there is also another variant for the rear shocks (they are completely green and not black i think these are for the 4.2 but im not sure) they also have the same OE Nr as the rear 5.0 shocks for some reason?
I added some pictures to make it easier to understand.
Thanks for everyone helping

The OEM ones on my '10 XKR are black too, well the rear ones are anyway, I can't see the front ones.

I bought 2 OE front shocks for a 2010-11on eBay a few years ago (there was a seller in Michigan that had a large quantity for some reason), which I stupidly thought would ‘work ok’ on my 2007 XK (I was wrong, and the seller had warned me).
Those front shocks are black, but I don’t recall what color the round stickers were (they’re in a corner in the garage, so when it stops raining I’ll back out the car so I can get to them and check).
I’d offer them to you, but you’re in Germany and these aren’t light to ship (the boxes they came in were pretty beaten up and torn in just 500 miles of transit).

Thank you all for helping so far. I mean i could just buy them at the jaguar-shop & they will ship the exact shocks i need but i don‘t want to spend up to 50% more for the same parts if you know what i mean. I mailed the Bilstein support and will see what they have to say. At every website i looked the shocks for both front and rear have both oe numbers as is said and that is irritating. Cant be the same number for 2 different shocks normally.. and also 2 same numbers for VINB38**and B39**

There are two key types of Bilstein damptronic shocks. One for the base (generally two-stage), another for the R (generally multistage (or "continuous-stage"?)). They are not electronically compatible.

On tire rack, the Bilstein (green) is spec'd for the '10 XKR. Below is the rear: Bilstein 20-114503.

https://www.tirerack.com/suspension/...***&cat=Shocks

If you get these, they'll save you $600 compared to the Jag units for the back.

The front didn't come up, but they may have them. Contact their customer service and ask them. They should give you the front XKR Bilstein PN. Just make sure both front and rear are the green multistage.

LOT of bad info out there: Sites specified wrong damptronic, no damptronic, mix of the two: back green multistage damptronic + front 2 state black damptronic. A mess.

Also, for my two-stage '07 base, the front black Bilsteins were very difficult to find, and I searched for a week to get some that were last in the warehouse.

The damptronics are getting harder to find.

Panth sorry if I have read your post incorrectly and misinterpreted what you wrote but all dampers for the 4.2 are two stage and all dampers for the 5.0 multistage (continuous adjust)

Purchase a set of these pal. Purchased a set myself recently, delivery was prompt (under 2 weeks to the UK from the states). Confirmed they are genuine shocks and perform wonderfully on my 2009 5.0 XKR

These are until VIN B38 & mine is B39. I massaged Bilstein & British Car Parts because i think i found the right ones. Also on the Jaguar Palm Beach website it says i need the black ones with Purple sticker & if i understood correctly the ones with a green sticker (as you can see on ebay) are until VIN B38853.

The ones needed after VIN B38 are : Front Bilstein 20-114411

Rear : Bilstein 20-114428

I checked the fit for these on the eBay site... the XK was compatible, but when I changed to XKR...

I agree that finding the correct part numbers for XK and XKR shocks is harder than it should be. When I was researching this a few years ago, it appeared that the 2010-11 XK and XKR used the same shock, and that made sense, as a variable damper the computer controls the damping rate, so a different rate could be used for each car, using the same damper.
Anyway, these are the ones I bought new on eBay (listed for 2010-11, first 2 years of the 5.0 in the US), black with green dots:

Damper mounted in my spring

Stamped: BILSTEIN MADE IN GERMANY

JAGUAR stamp and logo on the other side

Not stamped with a C2P…. number, but from what I can make out, it has part number:
8W83 18 45 AE
or
8W83 18045 AE
or
8W83 18945 AE

also stamped underneath:
08323 D745W002

Turns out all my problems were caused by the front lip (C2P20417XXX). It broke (detached) right in the middle at the screw and the air went in ”the wrong areas“ causing me to swerve around (the faster you go the more it gets bend downwards and it would eventually break off completely). I also had a screw in my 3 month old Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (front, left side) and it was a big pain in the a*s to get one in the right size.. everywhere out of stock because the new Pilot Sport 5 got released and the size 255/35/ZR20 is not that common Found one eventually but it took almost 2 weeks to deliver.Oh and also the Bilstein shocks i listed up there are not the right ones because i have the sport suspension (i dont know what that means but i know that i have the speed pack (limited to 280kmh instead of 250)). But i still have no clue which shocks i need (the only thing i know is all of them are black but no clue what stickers (green etc)). I will find out if they eventually break some day. But right now at 100.600km they are in perfect shape and balanced on both sides (no differences) and the front lip is also cheaper
