Your TR3 along with my 1955 MGTF1500 were the true definition of sports cars. Reliability meant that you could rely on something to break down every month. With all the never-ending niggles, you had to be a good sport to own one. That's why it's a sport's car.
Trust me, you won't miss your TR3. Beauty is only skin deep. I'm waaay over my TF, but I'll never forget the lessons it taught me about how to be a shade tree mechanic. It was out of necessity, after breaking down in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully, the factory included a set of metric hand tools. They knew that us Yanks didn't have metric tools in the '50s.
