I have an XKR175 and bought a set of 19" Tamana wheels with Blizzaks for winter use. I was told 18" would not fit and the 19s performed very well in light snow.

Frogdogfan, does your XKR175 have Alcon brakes? I know your calipers are painted red, but are the front calipers 6-piston with 15.75" rotors? Here's a photo - note the rotor's crescent-shaped vents.

dd823, the only way to know for sure if 19" wheels will fit is to try them before you buy them. I doubt they will clear the calipers, but I'm not positive. Putting winter tires on the OEM 20" rims should work. Used rims are usually available cheap on eBay, but buyer beware. Also check TireRack.com to see if they have a wheel/tire combo for your car.

No, they are the regular XKR brakes, which I think are 15" in the front. My 19" winter setup has very little clearance, so you may need to go with 20s.

Frogdogfan, if your car came from the factory with a compact spare wheel/tire, you don't have Alcon brakes. No spare was available with Alcons; cars so equipped came only with a 12v tire inflator and a can of sealant. Not even a jack!

dd823, good luck with your winter wheels/tires. Let us know what you decided to do.
