So Where Is My 2013 Jag?
Well, my dealer expected my new XKR between the 1st to 7th of July, it is now the closing of the 10th. So, where's my car? They claim they can not track the delivery, boat, train and then truck. At the cost of these they should. After all GPS is common and cheap. Most companies insist on their logistic suppliers to have this.
Any thoughts???

Jaguar does provide the dealers with some information. For example, I spoke to my dealer yesterday, and he told me that my XK was put on the boat yesterday, and is scheduled to arrive at the dealership on the 25th. I am sure that he will also know when the boat arrives in Baltimore, and when the car is placed on the truck.

You can try this steamship line's website: Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics - worldwide ocean transport, inland services, supply chain solutions, terminal services
You will need to get your vin from your dealer first and enter in Track and Trace.
I've used this website to track my Mercedes a few years ago and it arrived early. I've used thsi steamship line's website to track my Range Rover last year and it arrived 2 weeks late. Once it arrives to port, it's usally a waiting game as they have to unload the cargo from the vessel, wait for Customs Clearance, see the availability for rail and availability of inland delivery to the dealer. Just remember dates shown are just estimates as in the freight forwarding/shipping world, they ony give ETDs and ETAs.

I think the dealer entered it into the system on April 5th. He always told me to expect it end of July/first of August, and it looks like he was right.

It must be taking the scenic route.

That's awesome!! Mine is scheduled to arrive on the 25th, but the dealer said that's an estimate. Nevertheless, now that's it's getting so close, the waiting becomes even more difficult.

Awesome
Congratulations! She looks great!
It's funny the spots that have protective tape are the spots i remove the most minor scratches when detailing... They must know something
Was there still heavy wax on it or does the Stratus Grey color give it that matte-ish look? either way, I like it!

The paint is covered in fine dust from the trip accross Canada. The Stratus Grey is a heavily metaliced paint that looks great when it is clean. I went back this morning for another peek. It was raining lightly, did not take my camera, and the paint was somewhat brighter. There was another '13 that arrived with it. A blue convertible XKR. It does not have the dynamic package. There is a marked difference in the rear spoiler treatment of the two. Also the other one has 285 tires in the rear as they are not Vulcan wheels.
So, may be I will get it tomorrow or early Tuesday.
