Default software updates

Are they covered by the factory warranty?

A safety recall may well be. Depends what kind of update. Mostly, no. Ask, but if you mean the cars in your sig they look well out of warranty (except maybe emissions equipment?).

Thanks. That's about what I figured. I just bought a 2010 XK coupe that's under warranty until next May and I don't even know whether any updates are needed.

When you bring your car to Jaguar, they should be able to tell you and do whatever updates or compaigns have not already been addressed.
