Sourcing Floor Mats for XKR Oyster/Ivory
If anyone has purchased aftermarket mats for their Oyster/Ivory interior, what company did you use and what color was the closest match?
I am searching for everyday carpet-mats because I want to save the OEM logo'd mats for shows. My preference would be to purchase dealer-sourced OEM mats; however, it appears there are only two carpet colors still available: Flint and Carmel.
I believe the flint color is too black for the oyster, I need a color more toned to grey and hope someone has found the right source.
Thanks in advance. Gordo

Gordo,
Good advice from Cee Jay. You'll be much happier with a closer color match to the OEM mats and might be able to have a custom shop embroider them with the Leaper logo.
Your signature doesn't indicate the year/model of your X150, but from your photo my guess is that it's a 2009 XKR Portfolio coupe since the colors appear to be identical to my convertible - Ivory/Slate with Rich Oak wood veneer. But since your floor mats appear to be edged in gray (Slate), I think it's not a Portfolio because mine are edged in Ivory leather. Please clarify. Thanks.

I too would be interested in finding a set of the original oyster mats, but haven't come across any. As you stated only the flint and caramel available from the dealer now. Looks to be the ivory oyster interior of the '10/'11 R Coupe since it has the rotary shifter with lunar grey exterior.

Lloyd's mats which come in varying qualities, come in about a dozen colors with a number of optional features. You can't get the Jaguar logo, however, you can buy appliques separately and attach them or have the mats custom embroidered at an embroidery shop. The Lloyd's mats are custom fit to the X150.

I mistakenly titled the thread thinking I had a Slate/Ivory interior, when it is actually Oyster. A couple of us w/ oyster interiors would be very happy to learn such OEM carpet mats were still available in the UK. Thx. gordo

Color match Oyster caroet vs. Lloyds' Mat samples
.
For an Oyster carpet (MY2011) I selected the second sample from the right (Smoke 111). This seemed to be the best overall match of the five (5) samples. In the full sun, on the driveway, its considerably darker that the OEM Oyster. However, in the car under ambient light, it lightens up considerably. Given all the other grayish and charcoal samples were even darker, this seemed the best choice.
After analyzing for way too long over the tint and hue, it occurred to me that its just a floor mat and nobody on God's green earth is going to get into the car and critique the shading of my floor mats :-). I'm happy to be able to save the OEM oyster/ivory mats.
