You're right; since you have Alcon brakes, you will need the black compact spare. The red one won't fit. Been there, done that.
Interesting that Alcons were standard with the 2008 Portfolio. For 2009, they were a $5,000 option on the Portfolio. The only other option on the 2009 Portfolio was Adaptive Cruise at $2,200.

The only Portfolio option in 08 was the adaptive cruse control for $2,200.00 and the list price was then $106,900.00. You had the choice of Ivory or black interior and walnut or metal dash. I think they decided to let the customer choose the amount of options the next year.

P.S. I was not able to get my spare from England, Rich was right to expensive to ship. Still looking.

Perhaps searching a salvage yard with Jags might work.

At least you got the spacer coming and just need the spare wheel and tire. They surface every once in a while in a used condition which is all you need.
I will search periodically and if I find one, I will let you know.
Since you have the 20" OEM wheels we now know you need the 19" Black spare wheel tire. BTW..the OEM wheel spare has a Pirelli tire mounted.

FYI, my delivered cost for my brand new compact spare wheel/tire (mounted) and toolkit, including all tools in the foam tray, was $426. With the custom made spacer and torque wrench, my total was well under $500.

I have the tool kit tray and spacer and just need the spare. I was looking used but think I will just order the spare from Jag. I hate to go out of town or Up North MI without one.

These forums have helped so much with owning a car I had little familiarity with. I appreciate the help and support with so many issues and especially this one because of the unique aspect of the Alcon brakes. It makes the excitement of owning a Jag so much better.

That black compact spare fits the front without a spacer. It also fits the rear but you need a 7mm spacer to clear the Alcon brakes. For details, see my Post #1 in this thread and links therein. You need only 1 spacer since with only 1 spare you're screwed if you get 2 flats simultaneously - unless the factory-supplied emergency repair kit (12v tire pump and can of sealant) works.

After owning the car for about 5 years, I'm finally getting my act together to do this. I now have the spare wheel and toolkit, so just need to order the spacer.
I went to the motorsport tech web page to place the order for the spacer, based on richzak's excellent info earlier in this thread, but there is a further choice that is not mentioned in his info.
Should I choose
a) Hub Centric to Vehicle Hub
or
b) Hub Centric to Vehicle and Wheel Centric to Wheel

I started this thread and did all the research to source the correct compact spare wheel/tire, tool kit, custom spacer, and torque wrench - not Richzak. Either spacer will work, but...
I recommend that you order b) Hub Centric to Vehicle and Wheel Centric to Wheel. That spacer has a lip that is designed to fit over the load-bearing surface of the hub and fit snugly into the wheel center hole. That spacer, in effect, becomes an integral part of the wheel and distributes the load of the wheel and tire to the load bearing surface of the vehicle hub, which is much stronger than the wheel studs. It costs $35 plus shipping.
Because the spacer will be used only for a short period of time when you have a flat tire, the flat hub centric spacer without the lip will also work. It costs $25 plus shipping.

Either spacer mentioned will work. Although you will rarely use the spacer on the XKR with Alcon's, I would concentrate on the safety aspect and go with the Hub Centric to Vehicle and Wheel Centric to Wheel. This will as mentioned, be the best as an integral part of the wheel to tire rim. The spacer will lock into the hub and wheel rim.
I would call Lennie Jr. over at Motorsport Tech and speak with him. New technology and milling may have emerged since I purchased my spacer from Motorsports Tech. Lennie is a great guy and knows the business of wheel spacers and hubs extremely well.
The spacer will be custom made in their shop, and takes a few weeks depending on how backed up Motorsports Tech is in their production runs.
The cost is cheap for the safety factor that a hub centric to vehicle and wheel centric to wheel provides. You will not be disappointed in the end product in any way.
