Speeding Springs - Texas
I went to the grande opening of a car lovers heaven today, Speeding Springs in Dripping Springs Texas.
There were probably over a thousand people there while I was around, hundreds and hundreds of individuals' cared for, loved, caressed
and customized autos.
I saw one F type, one XKR, my XK and this little red beast.
I've stopped there over the past several years as they progressed with their dream...it has come to reality.
If you have the chance to ever stop by, do so.

I went to college in Austin and loved the area. Spent nearly every weekend driving the Hill Country in my Capri RS instead of studying. I always thought I'd like to retire in the Texas Hill Country and build a barndominium, but I think I waited too late to buy. I visited a real estate agent in Wimberly a couple years ago and the only properties I thought I could afford were on a chat road. Can't have classic cars and have to drive up and down a chat road. But there is a LOT of money out there in the Hill Country now and so no doubt you'd see some really nice cars there. I bought my 69 Corvette about fifteen years ago from a collector with couple other Top Flight Corvettes near Dripping Springs. Wonder if he was there....
