Speedmakers - Jaguar production of Aluminum XKE
I am currently watching a great show on Speedvision around the production (from start to finish) of the all aluminum bodied Jaguar XKE.
The show is called Speedmakers and is running about 1 hour long.
One of the best programs I've seen around production of a car - the program not only focuses on each of the XKE production steps from start to finish, but there are small history lessons in between that give background about Jaguar's XKE history and new production techniques of the monocoque frame.
I currently own a 2007 S-type (3.0), but after watching the program, I feel like I need to add to my stable with an XKE.
