Default Spoiler Brake Light

had to replace battery in my 07 XK. no problem, opened trunk, realized not enough light with garage door closed, so walked over and pressed the garage button, and thought "oh ****-stop!", as the garage went up the metal bar caught the trunk, and snapped the brake light on the spoiler. so after kicking myself in the ***, i thought ok, lets see damage. it could have been worse. the brake light snapped at the area that screws into the spoiler. it still seats in the groove but obviously cant stay that way. i tried searching for replacement brake light but all i seem to find is the entire spoiler. any ideas from anyone ? i'd hate to go to Jaguar dealer and have to pay ridiculous price. paint on car is Lunar Grey Pearl.
was wondering if epoxy or glue would hold but im doubtful.

I did the same exact thing a while ago!! Haha!!

First I glued the pieces, then put some red vinyl wrap over the whole thing. Held up ok and looked ok but you could tell something was off.

After a while I replaced the dam thing. It is a separate PN:

I also just spliced the new 1 into the existing wires cuz I was too lazy to take the whole thing apart.

You can def. find that PN for cheaper, just google it.

Oh I guess I didn’t look close enough yet, I thought the wires just unplugged from the brake light at the light cover.
thanks for the reply and info.
I found entire spoiler for less than that on eBay but concerned about paint color match.
can’t believe we could make such a dumb move w the garage door. It’s like I saw it happening but couldn’t move fast enough.

Yeah I swore I would never be dumb enough to let it happen again LOL

Thankfully for me, this can't happen unless the rear is lifted.

Maybe get the larger spoiler then, since you need a light anyway? I find the small one ridiculous now that I got the larger one.
