Hi, when unlocking my doors, (mines on two stage unlocking) the interior handles move outwards, then further out on the second press, when i do press the second time the passenger interior handle definately doesnt move outwards as far as the drivers, resulting in the passeneger door not being able to be opened from outside, sat in passenger seat and literally pulled it out a few millimetres and all was fine from the outside (another person outside to pull) the handle is just not travelling outwards enough to unlock fully, my question is, is the cable inside adjustable to give it a tiny bit more movement??? Have tried it on global unlocking aswell, seems worse wen i have double locked the car and doesnt do it all the time 🤷♂️🤷♂️ Any advice welcome before i pull door card off and maybe clean/wd40 the cable?? Any advice on removing door card is welcome aswell, thanks in advance guys 👍

Driver's side shown here but the principle is the same:
The foam rubber sheath around the bowden cable is a very tight fit through aperture in the inner door panel (arrowed). If it's too far in, the cable end (circled) has insufficient movement for the inner door handle to move fully to the open position. Pull the sleeve out by a few millimetres to fix this.
Hi GGG, studying your info, in your experience do you think its possible to remove the 3 screws and just unpop the bottom half of door panel and slid hand/forearm up and pull the sheath out a few mill, as i see the tweeter speaker housing is very easy to break the tabs 🤔
I don't think that would be possible for two reasons:
1. very little room to work with the electrical connections still attached
2. the foam rubber is a very tight fit in the interior panel and the interior handle needs to be disconnected to allow any movement
However, as with all things Jaguar - I'd be happy to be proved wrong.
Give it a go. The worst case scenario is you either can't reach or can't move it and then have to remove the door card.
Hi guys, not really an update, just tryin to find some info while waiting for some better weather. Am looking at finding out, just incase i do need??? The part number for my passenger door actuator X150 2008 NOT keyless. Think ive found a number? 6W8A-21812-GD and think the part is same as early XF? Later ones, xk aswell, have a single plug connector, early ones have two? Also Is there any difference between keyless and non keyless ones? Or is that just in the handle and not an additional plug in the actuator for example? Feel free to correct me and point me in the right direction, thankyou in advancr
