Default Sticky rubberized trim

Hi all, has anyone experienced sticky rubberized switch trim, on my 2015 XK conv. There is a spot on the steering wheel where the volume control is located and another on the center console, it looks as though the rubber is oozing something. i have tried cleaning it but it returns.

Very common problem, search the forum for "sticky buttons" and you'll probably get several relevant threads with many different options to fix this problem.
