Having just spent two days working on my XK, I recognise that as one of the tabs on the internal moulding which is held in place by six plastic fasteners and rests on the top the large external front undertray. All the tabs on the front of the internal moulding should lie inside the lower curved section of the bumper/fender. Unless you can gently push it inwards and downwards, you will need to remove the front undertray and reposition the moulding.
