Supercharger Isolator

I just had my complete SC, C2Z32195, replaced. It was in for isolator replacement kit and the tech damaged the by-pass linkage. They never told me, but I found out when I got home. When the car was at the dealer I took some pictures of the old supercharger which showed no damage--they had no choice and went good for a complete SC replacement.
My 2014 -Dynamic-R has only 25K kms (18K miles). I would not mess with used salvaged parts when it comes to the supercharger unless you know the source or buy it completely rebuilt from a known source. I believe the torsion isolator was upgraded in the most recent kit. I would not reuse your snout with the damaged spindle.
Here is a link to my thread and problems with my dealer: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...racket-237053/
I also changed all accessible coolant hoses while the SC was removed, valley hose, back and front plastic 2 piece parts to upgraded 1 piece parts, etc.. To replace all of the hoses cost me about $1,000.
