Switch to XKR-S tune on ECU using SDD?

Yep.
I had the XKR-S tune flashed onto my 2010 XFR a few years ago, using SDD.
The tune file was NOT already on the PCM/ECU but had to be flashed onto it over the top of the stock tune.
And it didn't "stick" until I had an H-pipe installed in the exhaust system in place of the front muffler.

I know some of the Quicksilver products come with H-pipe however It goes against the grain of pretty much everyone on here as we go x-pipe ... I'm intrigued what made you go H-pipe instead ??.

I was going to go with an X-pipe then my exhaust specialist (who really knows his stuff, sadly retired now) recommended I go with an H-pipe instead. He said it would have the same effect on the tune but a "nicer" noise.

This is all true. "Nicer" meaning more subdued and smoother. Me, I like raucous and annoying. Redundant? I guess so.
