My ac compressor seized and broke off and sheared the serpentine belt while coming back from the Jaguar dealer to get parts

Has anyone else ever had the problem? Car was just towed to a independent Jaguar mechanic. Haven't heard back yet.

 

That sucks. Didn't have the seizing and serpentine failure, but my compressor crapped out 3 months ago and had to be replaced.
