Android geeks - need help. Beside installation of CarWebGuru I don't recall any major changes in my tablet. But after a reboot it started acting weird...
Top menu is appearing and vanishing- causing a screen jumps up and down. Moreover Google Play Store is relaunching infinite times.
The second thing is temporarily solved - blocked play store application.
Any ideas what to do and how to solve it? What is causing a top bar to open and close?

Hello to all,
I am registered since a few days on this forum and I have to tell you all my admiration. Naturally, when I bought a 2007 Jaguar XKR 4 years ago, I registered on a French forum of exchange and sharing of information. It was certain that it would never be possible to replace the original integrated audio system of the vehicle, this information being confirmed by several very sure specialists.
And here are several subjects treated here that question this certainty: we are not condemned to live with a completely outdated audio system!Combo has proposed a solution that allows to keep the original interface by installing CarPlay and then several members have advanced the idea of a complete replacement Luke Martin one of the first to testify of an installation, recently Kurt and PeterV8 who had the courage to go ahead and share their experience, may they be thanked for it!
Let's hope that these exchanges will continue to grow, I don't have a lot of skills to usefully contribute, I can only applaud!

I purchased same unit from same supplier and have had no help with my issues. The airbad warning light is on since disconnecting the bottom plug on the oem radio; the harzard switch adaptor harness does not fit any connector in my harness so no four way flashers, no wiring adaptor to connect the rear view camera, it will not power up on xkr backup wiring, no link to gps maping.
I solved the back up camera with a logic relay and I know I can download free maps but no help fro m Aostar. The airbag light goes out when I put back in the owm radio.
A dispute has been filed with Ali Express but I would not use this company again.

I reset obd code and all is well. My solution for the rear view camera was to use a logic relay that would close above 20 ma. This went in series with the reverse light wire. Then using a 12 volt source fused, I connected the wires to the relay contacts that supplied power to the backup camera.

Okay, quick update from my side. I managed to improve microphone quality big times. Have not heard myself, but when discussed with my wife - comparison between stock Tesla screen mic and upgraded one - night and day. Finally she is able to hear me well (and I don't need to shout).
I was inspired by other member who said that improved mic. I did a sort of a big change. Changed completely a mic. Cut out old one and soldered a new one. A new mic is a generic 6mm x 2,7mm electret condenser microphone. It fits a stock hole in a screen panel (for a mic) perfectly well (without any loose for vibrations), without any glue etc. So I just placed it in. It finally faces me, which makes it possible to get a decent quality of a voice.
LHS - original mic with a circuit board
RHS - my new mic

Also, just curious as the vehicle OEM mic wires are right behind the unit. Did you ever try connecting the mic wires to the OEM mic? I thought about doing that but didn't get around to it. Nice work.

Thanks for the info but to be clear, you removed the smaller mic and solder the larger on to the same board?

So final outcome is that a mic (RH) of a picture is in a car and entire board (as you see it) is now off.
Did not try to connect to OEM mic. But my current setup works couple of times better than OEM mic (which at least for me, was far from perfection).

Would love to help, but don't know the answer... Link to the one I have (sorry, but it's a Polish website): https://allegro.pl/oferta/mikrofon-e...cb-10751871430
But one quick update from my side. I tested it a bit more - talked to myself (two phones in a car) - it is definitely way better than stock mic (from Tesla screen), but when I do a hard acceleration with my sport cats - sound is not pristine frankly. It does not hear me and I become very quite in an output... Still worth doing IMO, but slightly managing expectations.
