Is there a choice to display...

You have a choice of:
- 'Screensaver' Analog Clock
- 'Screensaver' "Leaper"
- an actual screen ie Nav or Audio.
From the main screen, go to 'Vehicle' Tab
Then 'Syst. Settings'.
That will give you the choice of the 2 'Screensavers', and a thumbnail of each. You can also enable/disable this screensaver, and adjust the timeout parameter.
I couldn't get a screenshot here from an Adobe version of the very comprehensive Owners Manual, but its all listed in there. May I suggest you download a copy (there are numerous links on this site) if you don't have a copy ??? I discovered all kinds of features I'd already paid for...

If sensors are working properly and the pressure is too low you get the sexy outline of the XK with the tire outlined in yellow and a message...

I don't get directions in nav mode nor gears in "S" mode... only a clock... I imagine it's because I have 2007-2009. Must be new for 2010+ Damn...

True enough about the large yellow triangle with a disconnected sensor. My bad. But then again it is another display other than a clock.
On my car I had a problem with the TPMS and the car display with the red tire going from one tire to the other was sort of *fixed* finally by gently pulling and pushing on the connectors on the TPMS module behind the auxillary junction box. Suspect a cold solder joint in either the plugs themselves or the jacks themselves in the module. A temp "fix" that usually lasts for a couple of months, then it's back to massaging the elect connectors on the TPMS monitor once more.

The coolest image on the Nav screen in my 2010 XKR is the "R" on start-up. But for some reason I can't select that as a screen saver. So my default is a rather small leaper.
The only area in which my prior Jag, a 2004 XJR, tops this one. The leaper was much bigger and better executed, and against a Racing Green background...
