I am surprised Haggerty is insuring a daily driver.
When I looked into Haggerty for my vintage for an agreed value of $75k, the deal breaker was recreational use only.

Wow, I live in Queens and that increase sounds extreme, but I guess I am paying similar. With my XK MY14 added $200/month to my current insurance cost, but I changed from State Farm to Geico to get it. State Farm was going to rise by $490 every month. The cost really go up with FULL coverage, Collision, Liability with glass and a medium deductible.

Correct the typo - didn't you mean dates?

It's older and not as fast as a 2010, but worth it.
It wont take much to make your car as fast as the 5.0 xkr

Just talked to Hagerty agent to go over everything. Quote is $1105/year, 4000miles/year, $40,000 agreed value, matching the coverage with Allstate for my other 2 cars.
For NY, it's not bad, and now quite lower than my 16 XJ premium.

Damnation, that USAA site is a Royal Mother to navigate. Took me nearly half an hour to FINALLY find out where to view the policy.
Anyway, just the XKR for six months is $414, wife's RX is $308. Piddles for the rest.

Interesting. Mine is more than $175/6 months more for an older non-R car. Part of that may be my less than stellar record of tickets, but I am sure most is the difference between Louisiana and Utah.

Heck, I've been retired since I was 43. Don't think I'll go live in Florida though.

Glad you were able to save some from my suggestion.

Some people don't move to Florida to live. They move there to die.

$1200 for 3 cars 6 months with Geico. Not a perfect driving record.

Geico was just about the only insurance company that would insure our house on Cape Cod.

I have a HORRIBLE driving record. Speeding and lots of it, and a rental-car fender bender - literally, the damage to my rental car was a fender dent a little smaller than a dollar bill. But somehow, and against reality, I was "at fault."
My zip code is smack in downtown Los Angeles.
I pay $320 a month.
