Thoughts and ideas for 2007 XKR
I'm looking for minimally invasive projects that are worth the time and effort. I have a 1.5# pulley on the way, I've done the resonator delete with x-pipe as well as K&N's in the factory air boxes.
So, thoughts on either a Methanol / Water injection OR a Killer Chiller?
IF either cools the air charge as advertised (supposedly -100 degrees for Methanol/Water injection) would I be able to put in one of these?
Jaguar XKR Cold Air Intake System 07-09 4.2L, Eurotoys,Ltd.
I understand that hot(er) air from the engine bay is not beneficial to power output. But, would it be not an issue with an air charge chiller or methanol mister?
Anybody have experience with either the Killer Chiller or Methanol injection?

My question is more along the lines of: if the air charge is cooled by a methanol/water injector - would the relatively hotter air in the engine compartment still be an issue? Logic would say no - but logic does not always win in the real world.
Also, I have been told that the longer the intake tubes the more restrictive they are.
Again, just thoughts...
Anyone have experience with Methanol / Water Injection on a SC 4.2?

Here is some water methanol experience on the same 4.2 SC engine, but on the earlier X100 model: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-ground-89422/
Have you looked at my Remote Top/one touch/rear window control kit? NEW!! '06 -'15, XK / XKR (X150) Convertible Top Remote Control - TheJagWrangler
