Well after 25K miles it looks like my tips are getting more difficult to clean. Most of the time I just wipe tem down but now I need to take a different path. Seem the heat is starting to blue the metal and leave burnt on rings . So maybe a little scotch pad will help but eventually it will become a problem. So guys without getting to personal how's your tips.
I used a rotary sanding disc attachment for my drill followed by a rotary buffing wheel with Meguiars metal polish. Now I can simply wipe the tips when washing and they come up lovely, clean and shiny.
