Tire pressure sensors

Anybody else have problems with these as the weather gets colder ?
Last few days we've been below 35 degrees and I get a "Check your tire pressure" notice for the front tires..
First time it happened I went to a tire dealer and they checked all tires, only problem they were all a few lb's over inflated , so they put correct amount in each tire.
I got the same warning today for all four tires, but after driving around for about 20 minutes the warning went away. ???

You raise several issues.
Your Public Profile shows that you have a 2010 XK. If your TPMS sensors have never been replaced, the batteries in those sensors are over 10 years old and may be on their last legs. A tire shop can scan each wheel and determine the health of the battery in each sensor. You may need to replace one or more sensors.
As the temperature drops, so does tire pressure. Check the pressure in each tire using a digital tire gauge in the morning when the tires are cold. I use a 12 volt electric tire pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter to fill my tires to the specs on the sticker on the driver's door jamb, plus 2 lbs.
Jaguar TPMS sensors require no programming. They will automatically reset themselves after a "check tire pressure" warning, which is exactly what yours did after driving around.

TPMS is capable of producing this behavior on any vehicle, ever. There is probably nothing wrong.
Depending how you drive, tire pressure on any vehicle with similar weight (and other characteristics, like tire width, I suppose) to ours can increase as much as 5 PSI simply by added heat from friction. Launch at every light, corner harder? More friction, more heat. PV=nRT.
