Default Total Miles Disappeared From Dash - RESOLVED

08 XK. Went to get an inspection done. Mechanic asked for miles. Its not there anymore. Manual says its always displayed above the current trip and mpg display. And it always was. That is until today. Any fixes? Same experience?

Pushing the button on the end of the turn signal stalk indexes the display through various information, including mileage.

Duh … Thank you … That was easy … wish I could find a similar fix for the AC drain line leaking into the passenger side.

Glad that was easily resolved.
There are many threads here on the clogged "duck bill" issue that describe fixes. I tried most all of them including adding a by-pass tube, whick didn't work at all.
In the end I was able to make a cutting tool out of some brake line tubing and successfully sliced the thing out on my 07 vert. It worked like a charm but it was all of the help from the forum threads that lead me to that solution.

Edit: CeeJay is on top of it!

Yeah... I did the bypass tube. It works 98% of the time. At first it didn't work at all but I built a little "dam" out of epoxy to stop the water from pouring into the blower motor. Now it only drips when I make a really hard left turn and the water sloshes over the dam.

Or maybe it's a levee. I'm not up to speed on my water retention terminology.
