Default Touch Screen Options besides Tesla

Bringing up an old topic as Ive read all the threads.

My 15 year old screen is Dim, and has some vertical lines in it. Its functional , but some buttons are really hard to see.

Is there an option to replace the screen ?

Ive been to local JY and missed one out of a 07 Coupe. Looked on Car-Part and found $400 listings .

Appreciate any input.

An XF screen (of same age) can be used - only difference is a couple of metal tangs on side of frame (XF screens, at least in the UK) are FAR FAR FAR cheaper !)
