Hi all,
I just replaced the wheels and tires on my 2011 XK. Discount Tire put new sensors on each wheel and everything was fine for a short while. The warning then appeared on the dash. Discount Tire fixed it by resetting the code, but the warning keeps coming back. What’s the solution? Do I need Jag-specific sensors?

I just had Discount Tire replace all my tires & sensors in my ‘15 XKR. They used their Jag compatible sensors. They programmed them, and no issues. In fact I just ran an OBD scanner on the car and they all showed up and checked good. These are the sensors they used. But, shame on Jag that you can’t read the actual pressures.
^^^\Well, damn. Now I’m getting TPMS System Failure. A little after 1 week of the new sensors being installed. My XTool TPMS tool, reads all the sensors as good. I checked the actual air pressure in each tire with a good gauge, and then read each sensor with the XTool. And they are all accurate. I like to check tire pressure regularly and the XTOOL makes that easy with bending over, and losing air each time I check.
I have the same process. I too like to confirm the pressures often. At least once a week. Driving habits and preferences demand this.
But I don’t throw tpms errors. Specifically, what is the code?
I have a 2008 XK Convertible and have had similar problems. So far I've had success setting all the tires to the same pressure while cold. The door frame says 31 for the front and 33 for the back so I set all 4 tires to 33 psi and have had no problems so far. Remember as the temperature rises so will the tire pressure so you may have to reduce accordingly.

31 & 33 is probably for the 19” wheels, as I think the 20” wheels are about 3 lbs higher.
Yes, you are right. I have the XKR wheels, Continental Tires - Front 255/35 ZR20 & Rear 285/30 ZR20. If the TPS comes in again I will do as you say and raise them a bit.

Well, I’ve been back to Discount Tire 3 times. The cznt figure out how to get the sensors to work, and have refunded my money. So, I have 4 sensors that I can easily read the pressure with my XTool, but they throw “TPMS System Fault”. The dealer quoted me an outrageous $$$$$$ to evaluate and replace with Jag OEM sensors. And the service coordinator was an arrogant *****. So, I went to a local independent, and he is going to quote me to replace with either OEM or Autel.
A sensor is a sensor, as long as it's 315 MHz and transmits. Your problem is elsewhere. Many places to look.
mine worked fine until DT replaced the sensors.
The Indy wanted huge $$$$$$$$$$ to install Jag OEM sensors. I went back to DT, if I bring them sensors they will install them, but not guarantee them. So, now I’m in the hunt for sensors guaranteed to work, and automatically sync up. I’m leaning to the Continental/VDO SE52081, which are supposedly the OEM ones

The proper sensor for the X150 is not programmable. Discount Tire installed the wrong sensor.
Take your XKR back to DT and tell them they screwed up and need to install the right sensors.
Ok, well I’m biting the bullet. Discount Tire said they would install sensors if I bring them in. So, I ordered Factory OEM sensors from LA Jaguar. Hopefully they are plug and play. Otherwise, I guess I’ll make the 2 hour trip to and from LA Jag.

YAY! I had DT install the TPMS sensors I bought from LA Jag. After just 3 miles on the way home, the failure message went out.
