If your 2013 XKR is no longer covered under the original Jaguar new car warranty or the Jaguar Select Certified Pre Owned warranty (which I presume is the case), then you don't have an extended warranty. As explained below, I think what you really have is an extended service contract. If I'm mistaken, disregard the following discussion of extended service contracts.
A warranty", by definition, can only be provided by the manufacturer. There are only two Jaguar warranties: (1) the original new car factory warranty and (2) the Jaguar Select Certified Pre Owned (CPO) warranty, available only from Jaguar new car dealers. Contrary to popular belief, the CPO warranty is not simply an extension of the original Jaguar new car warranty.
Everything else is an extended service contract written and administered by a third party insurance company unrelated to Jaguar, even though it may be sold by a Jaguar dealer on its letterhead and the salesperson calls it an extended warranty. He or she knows they're lying and can get away with it because they're not a lawyer.
Extended service contracts often include ambiguous and vague language to enable the Administrator to interpret the contract to deny coverage on a technicality or as a pre-existing condition. Extended service contracts are high profit items for dealers and they know every trick in the book to convince you to buy one. Some Forum members have had excellent outcomes with their extended service contracts, and others have had the opposite results.
So, is the TPS main module covered? Maybe - you have to read the fine print and hope that your dealer fights for you to get it covered.

I know specifically that that exact module is covered on my extended warranty or whatever people want to call it (Neither original warranty nor CPO). I had a similar problem and if a reflash didn't help it they were set to replace it. It would have been covered.
But yes, each extended warranty (or whatever you want to call it) is different.

My TPMS module incidentally started acting up the day I dropped my car.off to get the water pump checked, and the dealer was able to get both covered under my third party extended warranty. My warranty is an "exclusion" plan, where the plan specifically lists what isn't covered, so anything not listed is. At any rate, the service dept folks should be willing to call your plan in advance and let you know if they will cover it. Good luck!
