Trunk relays for fuel pump issues

Trunk relays for fuel pump issues
Recently my 02 XKR 100 would start and then die after about 3 seconds. I have enjoyed the car for the past couple of years with no problems. I ended up having it towed home. While checking the fuel pressure (which was low). I then removed the Fuel pump 2 relay and the car would turn over but not start. I replaced that relay and removed the Fuel pump 1 relay and the car started and seems to be running fine.
I plan to replace the relay to make sure it is actually the pump and not just the relay before beginning that project.
My question is why would the Accessory connector relay be missing from my trunk fuse box. What does the accessory relay do?
Thanks for all the help from the other posts.

Welcome!
The accessory connector relay is for switched power at the three pin connectors adjacent to the battery and behind the glovebox. Jaguar at one time sold an auxiliary power outlet kit that makes use if this. You can add the relay yourself if you need the extra power points.
BTW, just swap the relays to confirm the relay is not the problem.
