Default Trying to hardwire my radar detector - 07 XK

Hi Guys (and possibly Girls)
I want to hard wire my radar detector to one of the fuses in the passenger compartment (fuse box in the foot well). Ive pulled two fuses but each one appears to be permanently on. My Passport 9500i doesn't have a sleep mode and I really do not want to risk leaving it permanently on.

My technical skills are good enough for me to tap in to a fuse but that's as far as it goes. Can someone please tell me which fuse I need to tap in to or let me know of an alternate place I can wire it to?

The directwire of the radar detector has it's own fuse so I'm not too worried about the amp of the fuse or other location I tap in to. I simply want the radar detector to switch on and off with the ignition.

Thank you for any help you may be able to provide and THANK YOU for being here. You guys were a great source for info when I had my 02 XK8.

All the best
Sheridan

I had my valentine hard wired at the dealership and they used a fuse from the dome lights in the headliner. It turns off with car.
