Does anyone know where I can get the S/C pulley mod and the ECU mod in Houston Texas?

Default Hankooks

I haven't added the pulley yet, I'm still working out a MY 2010 tail light upgrade nightmare (bulb out keeps tripping with left turn signal). Once that's fixed I'll do the pulley and water/meth together.

Price wise the Hankooks have been great but I think I'll go with the Michelin Pilot Sports next as i'm hoping for more grip... the Hankooks don't have much bite although they have been quiet and comfortable.

I have a set of the Hankook's on my 350z that I used to replace Goodyear GSD3s with -- although they were reasonably quiet and certainly cheaper, they were nowhere near as grippy as the Goodyears and they haven't lasted any longer either. The PS2s are simply the best. <sigh> And the most expensive.

Chuck08XJR,

The S/C upgrades can be purchased through Eurotoys and he also can do the ECU tune. I don't know anything about Houston, but this is what I did and it worked out fine. Just find a competent performance shop to do the pulley(s) and Mike from Eurotoys can come to you to do the tune. Most places don't have anyone that can source performance parts or tune newer Jags but a lot of places can install the parts.

MikeV,

I'm going to give the Nitto NT05 a try for my next set of tires. They are the only thing close to the Dunlop Direzza Sport Star Spec I can find for our cars. I've heard a lot of good reports and comparisons with the Dunlops (my favorite tire on my supercharged 350Z I used to have). At the rate these cars (especially with mods) eat up tires, I just can't see paying the prices for the Pirelli or Michelins.

Thanks timsail,

Where is Mike from eurotoys located? I have been doing some searching for the place and am not having much luck. Would you PM me any contact info or link?

Hi JgaXkr,
I've been corresponding with Andre Vos about putting his twin screw supercharger on my 04 XKR Coupe. Andre mentioned you are the only US install he's done for the system. If you are amenable, I'd like to correspond with you about how yours went and your satisfaction with the upgrade. We can post here or if you want to go offline my email is connalrad@yahoo.com.
Cheers, Tom

I sent you a message on your email. Andre's Twin Screw is without a doubt the best mod you could ever do to your car. I only wish it was available years ago as it would have saved me a fortune in pulleys & porting. The way the kit is put together is perfect, with very detailed instruction. He was always availabe when I had any questions. If you get the kit you will be amazed at the custom intake elbow it is a piece of art. He was very accomodating to all of my requests, including having all the parts polished prior to shipping to me. The kit looks like it could have been factory fitted. When I show the car to people I have to point out what is different.

Ghost rider do you have any more pics posted of your 08 XKR?? Would love to see more pics of your beautiful car!

QUOTE=GhostriderXKR08;435484]+1 on Mike on Eurotoys. He's done all the mods in my sig which includes Veizu Tuning. In fact, the XKR is at his shop right now as we speak getting some stuff done. I've dropped off my car at his shop before and he'll provide a loaner but lately I just have him pickup my car on his trailer which is so much easier for me. One time my car was at his shop doing some work and my new wheels were ready at the tire shop and he drove all the way to the tire shop to pickup my wheels and so when I got the car back from him, the wheels were on. Road King, this was done @ a Jag dealer?! Whoa that's cool. Did they say it would invalidate your warranty, or will they service it as though the mods never happened? Man, I'd KILL to have that kind of dealer here in California...

Have you changed that RED dip stick knob, looks odd surrounded by beautiful Chrome....
