Universal garage door opener issue

Mine is like that too. It's the most used button for me. I took the panel off and partially disassembled it to get to the buttons and noticed the plastic button has broken off it's frame where the "hinge" is. I tried a quick fix with some gorilla tape but that lasted about a month. Need to take it off again and try to glue it with some sort of flexible plastic adhesive or something. They don't sell that button piece alone, it's part of the whole assembly which is costly even used, but I haven't looked for it on ebay in a while....

Same thing happened to me and I had it fixed by my dealer while under warranty.
If you're not using all 3 Homelink buttons, you can reprogram one of the unused buttons to operate your garage door and simply glue the broken button in place so it looks like the others.
Lesson learned: push the Homelink buttons gently.

All the wiring required is a constant 12v and they don't drain unless activated momentarily.
