I have a bit off topic question. I have 15mm spacers all around, and since I lowered my car front wheels seem to be too much under the fender, almost OEM (due to lowering wheels got neg. camber). My question is, has someone put 25mm on the front? I know 20 is almost standard, but only 5mm difference seems rather small and I'm affraid I won't achieve that much. On the other hand, I'm affraid 25 mm could scrape the fender. Any thoughts, first hand experiences?

Well to answer my own question, no it doesn't scrap. Front 25mm and rear 15mm with Spires spriings is excellent combination, both in handling and in looks.

Quick question - have you made an adaptation of new "height" of a car after lowering a car in SDD?

I have changed for XKRS (yellow Bilstein) with OEM springs for this model. They are 10/15mm lower. Should I do the whole process of a car measurements?

No, ride height is strictly a function of spring height. The first gen X150 only had 2 damper settings, firm and soft. Changing to 2010+ shocks will not work as the continuously variable dampening CATS system communicates with multiple modules in the car which are not backwards compatible.

I have a 2010 car and changed for XKRS 2010+ yellow dampers. They come with different springs (shorter/lower). It works. No error after a change, everything works well (did only 30-50km on them so far).

Should I do a realignment/reconfig in SDD?

No, there is no re-configuration to be made. The CATS system
in the pre-2010 is completely different and not compatible. Just because the shocks are not generating any errors yet, doesn’t mean they are working correctly either.

You mean this SDD procedure to align car height is designed for CATS and 2006-2009 models, correct?

Apologies for not being clear. There is NO routine in SDD for setting damper height. The only damper adjustment is automatically via the CATS module which regulates fluid flow only. The two systems are NOT interchangeable electronically even if they are physically interchangeable. The original CATS system has 2 automatic settings soft and hard by controlling an internal fluid valve to open or close based solely on vehicle speed. The 2010+ CATS uses multiple module feedback to control a variable fluid valve.
