Upgraded exhaust tips for XKR
Let's face it, the factory exhaust tips on the XKR look like they came off of an economy car. They are not befitting of a Jaguar in any way. They are also too small. Granted, the aftermarket manufacturers like Quicksilver, etc do get it right, but I already have the exhaust mods I like and did not want any of theirs.
So I changed mine and love them. Here they are:

Are they Yonaka brand?
Are these 4-single exhaust tips installed or 2-dual exhaust tips installed?
Do you care to share the vendor and provide a link?
Are these generic/universal or made specifically for the Jaguar brand OEM pipes?

The factory ones had to be cut off and spacing of the pipes adjusted to accommodate the larger tips. The new ones were welded on. I got them here:

And believe them to be the same as these:

I prefer the look of Jahummers new exhaust tips. Interesting to see the same design on the F-type, which I never really noticed before.

Tell that to the F-Type designers as the V6 and V6S F-Type pipes are this style

I think those exhaust pipe tips would like very nice on my Jaguar....now if I can only find a nice Corvette like the one above late at night in a parking lot somewhere......it just might be tempting.

I think these tips are awesome, most tips you have no choice but to neglect the inside but these you can polish inside and out.
Plus the increased diameter fits the rear valance better as well. I have the black pack diffuser and my stock pipes look even smaller with the diffuser's pronounced openings.
Again this is a huge improvement!

I suppose I do like the look, I just don't know where you draw the line on retrofitting newer styles of things on older cars. Sometimes a car just looks best with things that are from the same era. (Of course, I just pointed out that this style of exhaust tips were used on the C6 Corvettes starting in the mid-2000s, but Jaguar hasn't started using them until very recently.)
I mean, can you imagine trying to fit a 1960s E-Type with LED headlights and taillights? Of course this is hyperbole, but I think it still makes the point...
Or you can go the other way and start doing this:
Actually while I was getting an oil change at the dealer on Saturday, I saw a 2012+ XKR coupe with a hood ornament on it. I almost fell over when I saw it!
Again, just my opinion and I don't mean to offend anyone!

When I got the Mina exhaust system for my 12 xk vert, the Corvette style tips came with the system. I just checked Mina's online catalog and it doesn't look as if they sell the tips separately. But, you may want to give Chris at Mina a call. Their number is 866-310-5247.
I really like the beveled tips. I think they add a lot of class to the rear of the xk/xkr and as said above they can be easily cleaned.

Exhaust Tips
Keep in mind the Jaguar OEM tips are 4 single exhaust tips and the OEM tips have been welded on. So it does take some work cutting off the old and welding on the new.

As you can see in the before pics, the space around the original tips is excessively large and makes them seem even smaller.
I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I painted the lower valance to match the body color as the original matte black unfinished plastic was starting to look a bit dingy as it does on all of them. I was very please with how it turned out and has drawn out the decision of whether to change the rear end.

You may also note that Jaguar has had many interior & exterior revisions & updates to the same body styles, probably more so than other manufacturers, I mean look at all of the leather colors, wood, carbon, aluminum, etc interior trim options, body kits, etc.
As far as leapers, you will be shocked, as I am, at how many I have seen on the previous XK, current XKs, the NEW XJ & XF in my market, driven primarily by older generations.
