yes i understand but it is a more modern engine, and you guys compare v8 or v12 at idle or start but a am v12 accelerating really sounds like a v12. i tell you and inside a tunnel its impressionning.
today i rather had this v12 5,2 twin turbo 0-100 in 3.9 sec, i like the sound a lot, and well we live in an epoque where it is good to use things when they are new, and change often. and i wander if a v12 while you drive with spirit is not more loyal than a v8 in term of consummation.
I do not like a v8 sound specially, I had the 5 liter xkr.

Sorry, nothing sounds better than a BRM 16 not even the spitfire.
It has no muffler, and the pistons are the size of weedeater engine.
Nick Mason the drummer from Pink Floyd, huge car guy, has made recording of many cars, it comes with the book named "into the red" The BRM makes all the Ferraris sound like toyotas.

Hate to tell you, but I don't like the sound of newer model Ferraris, that high pitched F1 sound. I much prefer the sound of my Pantera's big throated V-8, a deep resonating, alarm setting off, low frequency, baritone. I love the sound of most Astons, Maseratis, and love the F-type in both iterations, 6 & 8.

I was at the ferrari factory last month. I took a tour of the Maserati engine department on the second floor of the factory. There designed and made by ferrari spa.

I guess I have a few different opinions on sound. I like the throbbing thunder of a big V8 but I also like the horde of hornets sound of the Ferrari V8. As for V6 or iline 4's and even V12's or V10's they just don't have the same character as the V8's. As for a boxer 6 to me it sounds like a hopped up VW. If I had to judge I would take a Harley over a jap rocket or a BMW . But most of all I hate these fart can rice'ers . Just my opinion
