Default Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid, gas smell in the morning, 2008 XKR

My car smells of gas in the morning, this is an intermittent problem. I can not find any leaks and the smell is normally gone in 10-15 minutes with the windows or top down so I decided to change the vapor canister purge solenoid. All of the part sites only list the solenoid for the normally aspirated engine.

Is there a difference between the normally aspirated solenoid and the supercharged solenoid?

If there is a difference where can I get a new solenoid ?

The only difference I'm aware of is the fuel pump on the XKR's capable of greater volume of flow. Your canister may also need replacing, do you ever have issues filling completely at once?

Thanks for the reply, I finally found a Jag dealer that listed the solinoil for the XKR as part #AJ810270 vs the XK part #AJ811242. of course it's $40 more expensive @ $160..I am not sure if the canister needs changing. yet. I have never had a problem with filling up

I chased a gas smell for a long while and couldn't locate it. I was sure it was purge valve related.

What it ended up being was a leaking fuel pressure sensor on the right bank. The case had bulged and cracked. You might give that a look. To me it seems like a part destined to fail.

I checked the sensor and it looked good, but today all of a sudden I am getting a check gas cap warning. I am going to try changing that before the solenoid as that is also listed as a possible cause of gas smell.
