Default Video Compilations - XPipe w/ Resonator & Muffler Delete

Here’s a set of videos of my 4.2L N/A XK after deleting the resonator/muffler and adding an Xpipe for a more aggressive and non invasive sounding exhaust. Hopefully this will help folks decide on this inexpensive mod before they drop $1K and above on a brand name system. Cheers!

Would the sound get improved just by installing the X pipe and leaving the factory muffler at the back?

Thank you for providing. And I’m happy, you’re happy.

Clearly we all have unique preferences. And I mean no disrespect, but thats not for me.

The Xpipe alone actually made the XK very quiet and that was not what I was looking for. I’d say remove the box and save it in. Case you change your mind.

All good Guy. Everyone does have their preferences and it’s only until I drop more coin on Mina Gallery or something of that nature. I definitely am happy with the way it feels and sounds, no regrets whatsoever and I’ve kept all of the original equipment in case I ever go back to stock.

I have the Mina back box on my 13 XKR. it gives a deeper growl, gentlemanly overruns, and an overall great sound. I get a lot of positive feedback.

Default Takeoff Vid

Here’s the latest video I decided to take for a true takeoff on a smooth LA street. Can only imagine the power on the XKR and XKR-S versions of this beast!
