Default Volume on screen

Hello everyone😀

I have notice that the volume colum wich appears on the screen comes on irregulary without using the button on the steeringwheel.

It doesn’t change the volume so could it be a bad connection somewear inside the steeringwheel? The button?

It happens in both radio and iPod mode and in all steeringwheel positions.

Anyone else experienced this?

Either that, or the volume control on the stereo unit itself.

Hello 8bit
It seems to be solved, by turning the volumbutton on the dash to off position.
The volumecolum on the screen hasn’t apeard irregulary after that.

Glad the problem seems to be solved. I'm pretty sure there is no "off" position on that dial, it's just a continuous rotary control because since there's a volume control on the steering wheel then the audio volume cannot be directly linked to the physical position of either control. In that case it sounds like maybe the dashboard control was sitting in a position where it periodicaly made contact one way or the other, triggering the on-screen display. I could be wrong though - I almost never use the control on the dash.

I think it was my wife that used that dash button from the passenger seat because I never use that button.😂
