Welp, with all that software and some experience, can you turn off the tpms system?
My heart jumps a beat every time it comes on. I ran the tires at 40psi for an entire tank full and the fault continued. Lowered the pressure to appropriate and the faults quit for three tanks full and then...tada...here they are again. So, I could buy 4 new sensors, a new control box and a new battery but probably the faults will continue...thinking the sdd is a better (for me) approach.
I'm old and could live without the tpms.

I had my Indy disable the tpms with Autologic…30 minutes of shop time, no more false alarms. If I get a flat at my age, it’s AAA for me!
If I get a chance to set it up again over the weekend, I’ll check. The only times I’ve gotten a TPMS warning was when I’ve actually got a tire going flat due to picking up a nail or other debris, so I’m not going to turn it off (especially with a long road trip coming up), but if I get a chance, I’ll see if it’s an option.

I just cleaned my cat! Yep, I had a blown High Pressure injector on cylinder #2 a few years ago, and I started getting P0420 popping up. I used Cataclean once and it worked for about six to nine months. The code came back so I tried it again and Total Failure. I also have my Emissions in a week, so here's what I did.
Oh, having a two-post is SO nice... Anyway.
I removed the right Catalytic Converter, not a horrible job, easier than I thought it would be. Since it was the left/driver side, I did have to quickly remove the power steering lines to make room, but I only lost half a pint total.
I took that cat and hosed it out, then dumped a bunch of Dawn dish soap into it and flushed it many times then repeated. Kept flushing with clear water until zero bubbles, then used a leaf blower to dry it out. The install isn't done yet, I'm about to eat dinner. So, more to follow as to IF THIS WORKED!
I'm giving the car a once-over. I'm about to take another big roadtrip across Europe. Best part is, it's for work, so not all of the expenses will be out of pocket. Though I did add a few vacation days, and it'll be my biggest trip yet in the XKR - it's looking like six countries. I'll post a travelogue next week when I get back.
Today I decided was the perfect day to sort out the waterproofing on my roof, being dry but not sunny.
I was intending to use Renovo products but in the end I bought an Autoglym kit, being a bit of an Autoglym fan. I used my workshop vac to hoover as much dust and dirt out of the hood as I could, then scrubbed in the detergent, covered it in a decorator's dust sheet and left it to stew for a couple of hours.
While I was waiting, I tried out Meguiar's Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner, which I'd been tempted by in Halfords.
I can confirm that this is a complete waste of time and money. After hosing it off and finding the alloys worse than before I started, I cleaned the wheels the usual way - bowl of soapy water, sponge and elbow grease.
After I took the plastic sheet off, I liberally hosed the roof and then used the vac to hoover the water off, then repeated the exercise to achieve a soap-free, damp roof before applying the waterproofing part of the kit. At this point I was kicking myself because I had forgotten I meant to buy some colour restorer because the roof is a bit uneven:
Too late to do anything about it now the proofing is on. Roof completed I then washed the car (with Autoglym Shampoo Conditioner), polished it (Autoglym Super Resin Polish) and sealed it (Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection). I was going to take a picture of the car but it just looks exactly the same! The trouble with having a grey car and it being a grey day I suppose.
Still, I'm glad I got the roof done before the Season of Unspreadable Butter arrives. Today's business took all day (apart from the bacon sandwich and coffee breaks) so I didn't have time to make a start on cleaning the interior, which is a little grubby. I did take a picture, but that was equally pointless as the picture makes the interior look much cleaner than it is:
Apart from general interior cleaning I need to obtain and apply a good leather cleaner/conditioner. I've noticed that open top driving does make the seats grubby, and I guess it also dries the leather out.
Time to pour a gin and tonic if I can get my arms and shoulders to work again.
I had Spires Eibach lowering springs installed (15mm lowering).
Together with H&R spacers (20mm front, 15mm rear) they completely change how XK behaves, whole heartedly recommending.

I only regret I didn't go for 25mm front / 20mm rear spacers but I don't know if I wouldn't have any rubbing.

Planing to care about the hood once the car will be back from servicing and before the ugly season starts.
For your leather I greatly suggest washing it with a spray of 20%black soap +water and a soft shoe brush. Drying it then oil it with Natural genuine beef feet oil. (you let it sit as long as you don't use the car. I did it last August and i let the oil fully absorbed. took 8days. Now the leather is completly rejuvinated. No exotic or synthetic product needed as these are full grain leather.

I don't have one. I also don't think that'd help anything as it's just a fancy way to use some CataClean.
That's not something you do yourself. But I'm sure there's centers not far doing it.
It's quite efficient on cats and other stuff...and it cost only a few coins..
but anyway, that's too late now .Hope the new piece will solve your problems.
I now attempt a temporary resolution, using one of those O2 sensor spacers. Boy was THAT a pain to install even after I cut and ground it to a usable condition. More to follow on THAT also. Just a temp fix to see if it works to register it and then get me more time. I may find one of those injection places, if there is one close that's not a horrible price. I'm sure the other cat is a bit choked itself.
I had wheels geometry done properly after lowering springs settled, it's as if a splinter was removed from Jag's finger (paw?)!
Drives so beautifully and effortlessly, traction when accelerating is also something else despite read cambers being 1'26" and 2"06'.
Also replaced all of the lighting, all LEDs apart from front lamps because in Poland that may result in your registration taken away during police control and insurance company claims refusal in case of accident. Instead I used blue incandescent bulbs which look great when on but have fake lego brick light vibe when off, not sure about them yet.
Went with 5000K inside (jackpot) and 6000K outside, apart from front lamps which are also 5000K to salvage visibility at night/rain..
Mirror lamps now make the car look as if on display at a grand premiere at the dealership 😎
Of course a plastic tab in one of number plate light housings had to break but Jaguar god demands a sacrifice 😄
