Had the trans fluid changed. Just bought the car. 73,000mi. Looks pretty dark. Shifts really well. But time will tell. Doing the Diff next. Can't get a straight answer if this car has a non-slip Diff or not.07XK convertible it's a base model. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Mitch

Put my 2007 XK on a Ctek (purchased from Woot after a post in another thread about the sale).
Been using a Deltran from many years now, but since the Ctek has an AGM profile option, decided to be nice to that AGM I had installed several years ago. Have another Deltran on my Lexus, and the replaced Deltran will be used for the wife’s Mazda when I get around to adding a connector to its battery. Purchased a SAE to Ctek cable adapter, so I don’t have to change the wiring already in place in the Jag.
I updated my 2009 XK steering wheel to a 2012+. I had previously updated the dash vents and power seat controls. There are lots of choices on eBay…the XF steering wheels are less expensive than the XK version…same wheel. My car is fitted with a heated steering wheel so I had to be patient and wait for one to pop up. The seller wanted $120.00 but settled for $75.00 shipped to Pennsylvania from California. The leather wasn’t perfect so I dyed it and it came out really nice. There’s a seller in Poland that has what he call’s refurbished wheels…flat bottom and nice looking custom leather. Unfortunately, none are heated and his price is $400.00 plus $50.00 shipping…he came down to $300.00, still more than I wanted to pay. Thanks to @steve_k_xk for his info that was extremely helpful…
Yeah, the newer seat controls are a huge upgrade just by themselves.
A couple of years ago, Pacific Motors had a wrecked 2015 XKR. I got the Takoba wheels with Pilot Sports - not your favorite, I know - the dash vents and seat controls.
My reverse camera has been inop for about six months so I swapped it out for a new one. It worked great when I tested it, three times. I happily parked my car for two days. Got back in and NO CAMERA again. Guess I check for a loose connection. It'd suck if the first one was still good. I kept it, so I guess I could check.
Today I replaced the orange reflector side markers for white ones. Took advantage of an unexpected trip to Scotland to order the white ones from Pentland's Jaguar in Edinburgh, part numbers C2P22648 & C2P22646. Interestingly, different price and packaging for each. Ridiculously expensive for what they are (about 100GBP/130USD for the pair) but what can you do.
Prized the old ones off, which both cracked - it was close to freezing. New ones installed with gorilla double sided. 5 minute job and I really like cleaner look.
Just did the same to mine. Makes a significant difference for such a small item.
I also swapped out the lower air intake trim pieces to the black version from the chrome one. The front end looked a bit too chrome-heavy with those there.
If anyone is thinking about chiming in on the Ironman tires...the seller put these on as a new set before selling the car and clearly went to the budget aisle. Not what I would have chosen but, I'm not going to get rid of a new set of tires. They've actually been pretty good so far in call kinds of weather and with some spirited driving. Unless they start falling off a cliff in terms of wear and performance, I'll keep them until they naturally need replacing.

We use those Ironman tires on used cars here at the dealership I work at . There not too bad , if my car came with them I would ride um out until replacement is needed .
Car sailed through the silly, but mandated, state safety inspection at the neighborhood garage. While paying up, the front office guy says the mechanic/inspector ,who he says normally doesn’t say anything, tells him “that Jaguar is a REALLY nice car”. I was chuffed🐆
I picked my 08 up after it passed state inspection last week, my mechanic was laughing because he had a note for me from a passerby with his name and number asking me to call because he wanted to purchase the car. I haven't called him yet.😁

Nothing on my side, I'm still waiting for my seller to return it to me. Still in preparation (detailing, refurbishment of the roof liner, pre-sale service) I am in the starter blocks for delivery scheduled for this week!
