There was no part number for the oil filler neck, but I do believe it was a part sourced through a Jaguar dealership (Jag dealer didnt do the work). And I shall have a picture of the car later this evening (quick wipe down).

Swapped out my driver's door panel and center arm rest. The original door panel had been a victim of poor repairs/re-dye and other damage over the years and I've been on the lookout for a good used one since I bought the car a couple years back. Center arm rest had a broken latch. Here's a before/after of the door panel:

Original door panel - Poor fit, bad re-dye, broken bits

New (used) door panel - clean condition, matches rest of interior aging perfectly

Default Pulled out injectors (5.0)

Looking for bank A knock under boost only.
Pulled injectors and found one teflon seal mostly missing and charred up injector shaft past the seal..
Tomorow: figure out if this is a cause or an effect..

The good today...
Finished replacing the air filters in The Gray Ghost.

The not so good today...
Continued my search for a phantom coolant leak that only appears when the engine is hot and under hard acceleration.

there are pressure testing kits available. You can pressurize your system to test for leaks.

I already have a thread going on here... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...estion-279530/
... So I don't want to hijack this one on the same topic. I appreciate your suggestion, though. Thx!

I replaced the puddle lights with new high-intensity aftermarket Leaper logo lights. It was quick and easy using a small trim tool to pop out the old lamp, unplug it, plug in the new one, and push it back up into the bottom of the door. They're much brighter than my old puddle lights.

Any chance you have a link handy from where you bought those?

Well, this is a topic that hasn’t been around in a few years. Wonder if they’ve gotten better?
Used to be issues with the plastic disk inside the housing, rotating, or fading over time. Think there may have been some glass lenses that faired better, IIRC. Have several of the pop-in types, and the drill-in types, in a box in the basement, as I never got around to installing them.

Both of my drill-in lights still work, although the driver side one lost the red so now it's just white. And yes, that one does rotate a bit. The PAX side still has the red and that one doesn't rotate at all.

I bought these on Alibaba.com from the YOU QI STORE. Yes, I know that's in China and I'm 🇺🇸🪖. I buy from China only when that's where it's made and I have no other choice.

I'm pleased with these puddle lights and previously bought a set of 4 for my XJ (X351), which uses the same part as the X150.

I bought them when they were on sale, and the price is slightly higher now - but they're still inexpensive. They claim they are brighter, won't fade, and will last longer than earlier versions of the same light. Yes, the external design is identical to the earlier version, which faded and wasn't bright enough.

This new version improves greatly on the brightness and sharpness of the projected image. The image is available in 3 designs.

DO NOT ORDER #3. The projected circle isn't round and the top of the circle gets cut off by the edge of the door. I have #1 for my XKR and #2 for my XJ, and like both designs.

Here's the link to the item. Mention that Stuart sent you and ask for a discount, although I don't guarantee that you'll get one. Communicating with this vendor exceeded my expectations. He or she answered my questions promptly in excellent English and resolved my issues. Shipping to Atlanta took 16 days, much quicker than I expected.

https://a.aliexpress.com/_mqAIkOq

I have no financial or any other interest in this vendor.
