That is the best way to dry 'em off....or at least the most fun!

Good Luck, and PLEASE let us know how you make out with side to side rotation

AS/3 on 19 rims for my 2010 XK Jag and Michelin X Ice for the Buick, the bad weather auto.

I'll be sure to let the forum know of any problems! I did not have to rebalance the wheels, on either auto.

best,

Actually last week, but no time to take pics until today

Fitted A DTUK power control and pedal box.

Makes a world of difference to pedal response and power delivery, next will be a dyno to see if it's made a difference

Tuning box is supposed to give 25PS and 48 ft/lbs torque

https://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/

Yes i do have a before dyno and chose the power box over an ecu flash as

1) Our cars are notoriously hard to tune
2) It can't be overwritten
3) I couldn't find a single poor review of their products (lots on poor tunes though)
4) The German equivalent is TUV approved
5) I can swap it to another car for a small reprogramming charge

Money well spent IMO

I am running it in it's lowest settings on both and my normal drive to work usually delivers 22mpg UK (18.2 US) but since fitting have been getting 26mpg/21.5 but that just might be the electronics fooling the ECU!?

Oil change and brake system flush. Brake pedal still seems to have a bit of play in it before the brakes kick in, so I am taking it back to the dealer tomorrow to have them determine if there is an additional issue with the brakes or if I am just mentally comparing it to my XJL.

Proactive after the valley pipes and the thermostat housing was changed there was a slight spot of steam that would come out of the front grille after a long trip

Fitted my BlackVue DR900S-2CH dashcam - just the front & rear cameras for now, battery pack comes later...

Surprisingly, I had no trouble tucking the cable runs behind the roof panels; there's currently a coil of spare cable on the rear parcel shelf, but I'll sort that out another day.

I had a heated steering wheel retrofitted, along with aluminium shift paddles (T2R6547MMU). The new paddles seem to have a shorter, firmer action, and feel more "accurate". On the other hand, being aluminium, they feel quite cold...

Can you show where you put the rear camera? Inner roof, rear glass (defroster wires?)?

PeterV8,
There is a Jag service bullletin (JTB 00047) regarding XK Puddle Lights not working. It involves the CCF file..............I have always had non working PL since I bought car in 2011. Only Jag dealer can change this file and since I don't drive at night never bothered fixing them!!

Hope this info helps,
Cheers, Adrian Brennan

Performed a spoiler augmentation on my car this weekend after lucking upon a perfectly color-matched donor part from this poor prematurely departed XK.

So no problems with the install I guess?
Are you happy with the results?

Install was pretty straightforward other than having to solder my old antenna connector on since the junkyard snipped it. But I can't complain given the deal I got. Ended up getting it for $160 after pointing out what looked like some warping in the Ebay pics. Turned out to be nothing, and the paint is perfect (poor donor car only had 13k miles).

Like you said in the other post, once it's on, you wonder why Jag even bothered with the original spoiler. It's another one of these little mods that's probably imperceptible to most (asked my family if they noticed anything different, and they had no idea what I did), but it's a big difference to my eyes.

Sometimes it is just a case of looking for the right part at the right time! A great mod in my book.

On the glass, at the top, slightly to the left of centre because there's a manufacturer's logo & safety mark right in the middle. I tried to arrange it so that the centre of the lens is between two wires, but to be honest, they are so close to the lens that they are effectively invisible. The image from the rear camera looks fine.

Ok, glass is probably the best/only reasonable mounting place. I'm worried about sticking adhesive over the defroster lines, unless the camera contact patch is small enough to go between them? I reckon they'd get quite hot?
